Eveline 401 in Holographic Sand

Eveline hasn't been here in Croatia for long, but I must say that looking at price and quality ratio, they are a nice surprise and I like to use all kind of their products like lipsticks, eye liners, lip glosses and so on.
Their smallest polish collection where each polish has 5mL is Eveline MiniMax. Polishes in that collection have really nice summer colors, but there are also a few holographic shades from which I will review 401 in sand color.

Eveline kao brand nije ovdje u Hrvatskoj dugo prisutan, no moram reći da mi se odmah svidio zbog dobrog omjera cijene i kvalitete. Zbog toga volim koristiti i njihove druge proizvode kao što su ruževi, tuševi za oči, sjajila i sl.
Njihova najmanja kolekcija lakova sadrži lakove od samo 5mL, a zove se Eveline MiniMax. Lakovi iz te kolekcije dijele se na kremaste koji su vedrih ljetnih boja i holografske. Recenziju jednog od njih možete pogledati u ovom postu. Radi se o Eveline Holographic 401 boje pijeska.

Avon - Modern Mauve

I was on a drink with my friend this Wednesday and we went to see some polish stands as I always have a need for that :)
A while ago she got a manicure with Essie Demure Vixen and shince then she wanted to find that polish. So we came to Essie stand and finally she managed to find it. When I saw it I instantly thought of this: Avon Modern Mauve is doupe for Essie Vixen! So today I'm presenting you my Avon as a nice alternative.

Ovu srijedu našla sam se s prijateljicom na vrućoj čokoladi pa smo usput otišle pogledati štandove s lakovima za nokte obzirom da uvijek imam potrebu za time :)
Dosta ranije prijateljica je imala manikuru s lakom o kojem već dulje vrijeme sanja - Essie Demure Vixen. Od tada je tražila taj lak i baš ovu srijedu ga je uspjela naći i pokazati mi o kojem se laku točno radi. Kad sam ga ugledala odmah sam se sjetila dupea Avon Modern Mauve koji vam i predstavljam danas kao odličnu alternativu.

Essie - Curtain call

Curtain call is another romantic shade from Essie. Color is medium to light nude and it has a pearl finish. Suitable for every occasion and age, but also when you want polish that will suit your different clothing combinations during few days.
With two layers, that you can see on pictures, nail line is still visible. If I had layered 3, it would be opaque.

Curtain call je još jedna romantična nijansa od Essija. Boja je srednje do svijetlo bež/boja kože te ima sedefasti finiš. Odgovara svakoj prilici i godinama, no također i ako želite lak koji će vam pristajati na razne odjevne kombinacije jer vam se recimo ne da mijenjati lak sljedećih nekoliko dana.
Sa dva sloja kako vidite na slici, još uvijek se može vidjeti bijela linija nokta. Da sam nanijela 3, lak bi bio u potpunosti neproziran.

Essie - Buy me a cameo

Essie is again on my repertoire. There was a sale in a farmacy, so I went and choose from many beautiful colors most of the Essie polishes that I own today. Even with only classic color selection they had, and fact that I prefer non classic colors, I was dazzled with great selection of Essie classics they've had. Colors was simply stunning.
And in that selection I've chosen Essie Buy me a cameo that I'm reviewing for you today.

I opet Essie na mom repertoaru. Evo i malo priče iza toga - zašto toliko Essie. 
U jednoj ljekarni sam naišla na popust, pa sam ušla i iz njihove velike kolekcije sam odabrala većinu Essie lakova koje danas posjedujem. Čak i sa činjenicom da su imali samo klasične boje lakova i time što ja zapravo preferiram neobičnije boje, bila sam zapanjena izborom klasika koje su imali. Boje su bile prekrasne. 
U toj selekciji sam odabrala i Essie Buy me a cameo koji vam predstavljam danas.

Neutral challenge - L'oreal - 205 Rose Bagatelle

L'oreal Rose Bagatelle is most neutral polish that I own. It is beautiful nude shade that is so creamy and shiny... Love it! I'm not nude color lover, but this one is appealing in my eyes also. Usually I feel like I have dead person nails wearing nudes, but this one is very elegant. If you are having troubles finding nude that you will like, try this one!

L'oreal Rose Bagatelle je najneutralniji lak koji posjedujem. Krasne je nude nijanse, a struktura mu je potpuno krem i sjajna. Inače ne volim nude boje, no ova je čak i meni sjela dobro. Kad nosim nude lakove osjećam se kao da imam mrtvačke nokte, no s ovim se osjećam dapače vrlo živo i elegantno :) Ako i vi imate problema naći nude nijansu koju ćete voljeti, probajte s ovom.

Flormar - Supermatte M126

Hi everyone!

Finally I've caught a break so I can post something. Today I'll be showing you a grey-purple beauty from Flormar. I love this color, but it is so hard to define, sometimes it's completely light grey, sometimes you can see the purple, and under the yellow light it even looks a bit brownish. I tried to catch all of its faces with a camera.

Konačno sam malo stala i uhvatila vremena da napišem post. Danas ću vam pokazati jednog ljepotana iz Flormara, lak čiju je boju jako teško opisati, nešto između sive i ljubičaste. Meni je jako lijep, ponekad skroz siv, ponekad vidim ljubičastu notu u njemu, a pod žutim svjetlom nekad izgleda kao i da ima nešto smećkasto u sebi. Pokušala sam za vas aparatom uhvatiti sva njegova lica.

Almost but not quite nude

Hi, guys! Today I'm showing you its highness Rimmel Lycra Pro 365 Beige Style. I didn't even plan on making a post about this nail polish but since I was so positively surprised by its brush and application easiness, I just had to. It ended with this simple manicure:

Bok, ljudi! Danas ću vam pokazati njegovo veličanstvo Rimmerl Lycra Pro 365 (je prošlo dana... :)) Beige style. Uopće nisam planirala postati o ovom lakiću, ali kako me stvarno oduševio svojom četkicom i lakom mazivošću, jednostvano sam morala. Rezultiralo je ovom jednostavnom manikuricom:

Nail art - Reversed half moon dotted over nude

I'm not really into nude shades, I like stronger shades more, in nail art, make up and clothing. But nude as a nail art base can really be great, as in this example.

Nisam baš osoba za neutralne nijanse, puno više volim jače nijanse, kako u manikurama, tako i u šminci i odjeći. Ali neutralna nijansa kao baza za nail art može biti stvarno odličan izbor, kao u sljedećem primjeru.

OPI – Chocolate Moose

If you are tipical kind of people - you love chocolate! And for real chocolate/nail polish lovers - this is your candy: OPI – Chocolate Moose.

Ako ste tipična osoba, zasigurno volite čokoladu! A za prave čoko/lako-ljupce - ovo je slatkiš za vas: OPI – Chocolate Moose.

This is lovely cream brown with cream finish. Pictures are showing little bit warmer color than it is in real life. Swatches are done with this layering:

• Eveline Maximum Growth as a polish base
• 2 layers of OPI Chocolate Moose
• 1 layer od Seche Vite fast drying top coat

Boja laka je kremasto smeđa sa krem finišem. Na slikama je ispao nešto toplijeg tona nego što je u stvarnosti. Swatchevi su napravljeni sa sljedećom manikurom:

• 1 sloj baznog laka - Eveline Maximum Growth
• 2 sloja OPI Chocolate Moose
• 1 sloj završnog laka za brzo sušenje - Seche Vite

L.A. Girls – Frosty Iris

If you are still not ready to walk away from the winter here comes color you can wear for this transient period - L.A. Girls – Frosty Iris.

Ako još uvijek niste spremni za toplije vrijeme ovo je boja koju možete nositi u ovom prijelaznom razdoblju i prisjećati se zime - L.A. Girls – Frosty Iris.

This is nice pearly white color with a touch of pink/lilac that is suitable from 6 year girls to womans in their 60ies. It really suits everyone. You can even wear it to work and feel elegant.

Ovo je lijepa biserno bijela boja sa trunkom roze/lila koju možete nositi ako ste curice od 6 godina pa sve do žena u 60ima. Stvarno pristaje svakome. Možete ga nositi i na posao za elegantan izgled vaših noktiju i ruku.

Sally Hansen – Copper Glamour

Hello!

This color was bought while trying to find perfect champagne gold shade of nail polish. It is Sally Hansens Copper Glamour.

I still haven't find my perfect polish in that shade, so if you have any suggestions please let me know :)

She - Nude with newspaper print

Dear readers!

I'm bringing you this beautiful nude with newspaper print over it.

Newspaper manicure print is done this way:

1. Polish wanted nail polish in light shade over your nails and let it dry
2. Get some newspapers, cut them into pieces that will fit your nails and wet them in alcohol (I used Croatian rakia :)
3. Put it over nail
4. Remove newspaper
5. Put some top coat over as a finish

And that's it :) You can also dip nail into alcohol and than put dry newspaper over nail if you find that as a better way (step 2.).

OPI - Over the taupe

After some spring colors, I'm bringing you this winter beauty. OPI Over the taupe is grey-brown shade that suits most skin tones. It is rare shade and it's also great for business as for an everyday use.

Layers on my nails:

• 2 layers of OPI
• 1 layer Seche Vite

How do you like the color?

Bourjois – 14

Another nice and subtle color that you might even wear to work is Bujoris - 14. Line is described as the one that lasts 10 days, of which I cannot say much because I don't wear any polish that long.

I like this color, it's warm enough to indulge my tone of skin.
I think these colors that are nude or close to nudes are very much depended on your skin tone. Mine is neutral to slightly yellowish tone, with medium color to it - I usually wear powders that are named "nude" or "cream". So, if you like how some color is looking on my nails, these informations might be helpful for you.

Bujoris 14 is quite opaque nude pink color, it looks good even with 1 layer, but I have layered it 2 time, maybe just for a habbit.
