Lately, the market got a bit crowded with sand nail polishes. More often than not they include bunch of glitter, but there are sand polishes that resemble a bit more a facade, where the polish effect is more rugged and matte, and the polish is still monochrome. I personally like both versions, and today I'm bringing you an example of a monochrome sandy from Beauty UK - Grit FX collection.

Finally snow

This year I'm all about snowflakes and the real winter manicure doesn't go without them. At foreign bloggers I saw these beautiful snowflakes that I searched at the wilderness of the internet and in the end I found them on one stamping plate from ebay. However I gave up on them because it was a large plate with holiday motives, mostly for Christmas and Halloween, and that wasn't very interesting for me. But I've found stickers... I should only wait for the snow, that just didn't want to fall and almost spring temperatures haven't contribute winter atmosphere. But it's a known fact that good things come to those who wait! Or they just wait too long... :D

Ove godine sam poludjela za pahuljicama i prava zimska manikura mi ne prolazi bez njih. Kod stranih blogerica sam vidjela iste predivne pahuljice koje sam tražila po bespućima interneta i na kraju našla na pločici za pečatiranje s ebayja. Međutim odustala sam od njih jer se radilo velikoj pločici s blagdanskim motivima, većinom za Božić i Halloween, a to mi nije bilo napeto. No našla sam naljepnice... Trebalo je samo dočekati snijeg koji nikako nije htio padati, a ni gotovo proljetne temperature nisu pridonosile zimskom ugođaju. Ali poznata je činjenica da tko čeka, dočeka! Ili se samo načeka... :D

I just came to say hello... (and other stuff :D), part II

So, hello again! Hope you're all swimming somewhere in the sea and in the meanwhile siping ice coffee in deep shadows. Honestly, I don't know for you guys, but I can't take it anymore. I feel like a caveman (cavegirl actually :D) beeing stuck in the house all day long. It's been 4 days that I haven't got out of the house before dark and I've had enough! No summer is going to ruin my vacation! :) In few days I'll pack my bags again. The destination is the sea again and Bosnia (and there's cold at night :D). But before I go, I owe you the second part of manicures and polishes that I wore for the past month. Last time I presented you 4 nail polishes: Flormar Supershine 007, Rimmel 620 How do you lilac it?, Gabrini Neon N07 and Maybelline Colorama 96 Party blue. It's time for the next 4!

Još jednom vas pozdravljam! Nadam se da svi plivate negdje na moru, a u međuvremenu pijuckate ledenu kavu u dubokoj hladovini. Iskreno, ne znam za vas, ali ja više ne mogu. Osjećam se kao špiljski čovjek (zapravo špiljska cura :D) ovako zatvorena u kuću cijeli dan. Prošla su 4 dana otkako nisam izašla iz kuće prije mraka i dosta mi je! Neće meni jedno ljeto pokvariti godišnji odmor! :) Za par dana ponovno pakujem kofer. Odredište je opet more i Bosna (a tamo je noću hladno, ksssssss :D). Ali, prije nego odem, dugujem vam drugi dio manikura i lakića koje sam nosila proteklih mjesec dana. My favourite nail polishes

Each of us has its favourite nail polishes. Those are polishes which we wear either in daily activities or in some special occasions. I also have my 10 favourite polishes and I wouldn`t change them for anything in the world.

Svatko od nas ima svoje najdraže lakove. To su lakovi koje nosimo bilo u svakodnevnim aktivnostima bilo u nekim svečanim prigodama. Tako i ja imam svojih 10 najdražih lakova koje ne bih mijenjala :)

Gabrini Matte Nails 397

Hello! Here I am after a long time! I was in a huge rush so I didn`t paint my nails for a long time (shame on me) :D I really felt desire for nail polishibg so I digged trough my collection of nail polishes and spotted this beauty.
 
Book! Evo i mene nakon dugog vremena! Bila sam u velikoj gužvi pa nisam baš ni lakirala puno nokte (sram me bilo) :D Baš sam se zaželila lakiranja pa sam malo prokopala po svojoj kolekciji lakova i ugledala ovog ljepotanka.

S-he 313 in green

I bought new nail polish the other day. It was s-he number 313. There was another in similar tone, so I had problem choosing between them. Colour in the bottle was great, deep green with miniature particles (no, glitter is to big for this ;) ) which goes from bright green toward gold.


Neki dan kupih novi lakić, s-he broj 313. Bila je još jedna slična nijansa, baš sam se dvoumila. Jako mi se svidjela boja u bočici, duboka zelena sa minijaturnim česticama (ne, nije gliter, to je preveliko) koje se iz svjetlozelene presijavaju u gotovo zlatno.

Hello everybody!

I'm just another entusiastic girl wish to spend more time playing with her nail polishes. After I recieved kind invitation from author of this blog, I decided do join in and contribute with my works.

As a beginner in the nail art, please forgive me for the simplicity of my manicures, as well as my photographs taken by cell phone :D but I hope in time I will improve in both areas. I will start this post with simple manicure, untill I improve my skils and share with you more complexed and interesting creations.

Evo još jedne entuzijastice koja je počela svoja češća druženja s lakovima za nokte. Na ljubazni poziv autorice, odlučih se svojim doprinosom pridružiti ovom blogu.

Kao počeniku u svijetu nail arta, morat ćete mi oprostiti na jednostavnosti mojih manikura, a bome i samih fotografija snimanih mobitelom :D ali nadam se da ću se vremenom popraviti u oba područja. Kako sam po prirodi uredna i pedantna, započinjem svoje javljanje jednim jednostavnim izgledom, bar dok se ne izvještim dovoljno da budem zadovoljna pa i s vama podijelim neke složenije i interesantnije kreacije. 

OPI – Lincon park after dark Suede

Another OPI from me... I know most my posts include OPIs, but you don't mind that for a such a nice polish brand, do you? After all, at my collection (check the tab next to Home page) you will find that most of polishes are OPIs.
And this is special one. It is part of the Suede types. That means it dries matte. Let's take a look at it...

This is polish from OPI Suede Collection Fall 2009. Color is beautiful eggplant with bunch of silver metallic shimmer in it. Color reminds me of some natural stone, like granite.

Lak dolazi iz kolekcije OPI Suede Jesen 2009. Lak je boje patliđana s hrpom srebrnog metalik shimmera. Podsjeća me na prirodni kamen kao što je granit.

p.s. Essie surprised me the most - I haven't seen such an opaque polish in a while

I've also swatched my "old" beauty - Orly Purple Velvet. It dries matte, so I haven't putted any top coat over it. For that reason it also dries fast.

Bell – 301

Hi!

I love green polishes, and for today I have prepared for you this one - Bell - 301. I get my Bell polishes in Refan, and I like it's ratio price/quality. This is dark emerald green color, but I doesn't look black even in shade!

I have also swatched it with Essie Matte about you on top of it:

I love it more in shiny version, though :) But both are pretty, as I will show you in further pictures.

China Glaze Carribean Temptation

Hi dear reader!

Today I'll welcome you with beautiful pink shade from China Glaze - Carribean Temptation. What attracted me to this nail polish was blue shimmer that makes this pink polish so special. It's great for gloomy days like I'm having today to make it brighter and more cheerful.

OPI Red My Fortune Cookie

Dear readers!

Today I have a beautiful red creme polish from Hong Kong Collection - OPI Red my fortune cookie. Formula was easy to apply and the color is beautiful also!

When I layered Essie Matte About You over it, my hands reminded me of a doll hands. As a child I had a doll which nails looked like they had this kind of red matte polish :D
