Apstrakcija na noktima / Abstract art on nails

My dears, right from the start... Yes, I've hidden my face in shame and went on a guilt trip! I've truly been gone for long! I've had series of days that I haven't been able to start the computer. I'd applied polish to my nails once a week and watch it chip. When that was over, it's like I've lost my touch. I just couldn't do a manicure that I was satisfied with, and my nails went wild. Usually with april started my laments for my nails, but this year it started a lot earlier. Actually, it's as if the period od healthy nails wasn't there at all... :/ Splitting wasn't so bad, but peeling... :O Awful! It all ended up with short and rounded nails that I just couldn't get accustomed to.

Now I don't mind! :D They are what they are, I'll continue to press hard on them! :D

Dragi moji, odmah na početku... Da, pokrila sam se ušima i sakrila sam se u mišju rupu! Uistinu me dugo nije bilo! Imala sam period u kojem je bilo dana kada računalo nisam stigla niti upaliti, nokte bih nalakirala jednom tjedno i onda gledala kako se lak chippa. Kada je to prošlo, kao da sam iz štosa ispala. Nikako nisam uspjevala složiti manikuru kojom bih bila sasvim zadovoljna, a i nokti su podivljali. Obično bi početkom travnja počele moje jadikovke po noktima, ali ove su godine počele puno ranije. Zapravo, kao da perioda zdravih noktiju nije ni bilo... :/ S pucanjem još nekako, ali koje listanje... :O Prestrašno! Sve je rezultiralo ultrakratkim i zaobljenim noktima s kojima se nikako nisam mogla suživjeti.

Sad me više ne dira! :D Kakvi su da su, ja ću ih peglati! :D

Today I've got a manicure for you that I'm quite satisfied with. Too bad I haven't got more space to maneuver around, but I find it cute just the same.

Danas za vas imam jednu manikuru kojom sam prilično zadovoljna. Šteta što nema malo više prostora za manevar, ali i ovako mi je vrlo simpatično.

Golden rose Galaxy 14 i 15

Today we have a couple more Golden Rose Galaxy on our menu. Up until now you could see shades 12 and 21 and my opinion on them. In the meantime I acquired two more shades from this line and I plan on stopping there. First piece of reason for it is that that are all the shades I was interested in and second you can read below.

Danas su još dva Golden rose Galaxyja na meniju. Do sada ste na blogu mogli vidjeti nijansu 12 i 21 te moje dojmove o njima. U međuvremenu sam si nabavila još dvije nijanse iz ove linije i na tome mislim stati. Prvi razlog tomu je taj što su to sve nijanse koje su me zanimale, a onaj drugi i bitniji ćete iščitati u daljnjem tekstu.

MoYou Pro 7 over China Glaze

Nail Art - Moon Phases

Hello!

So today I went ahead and did a manicure I wanted to do for a very long time but never had the "courage" to try it since it is a bit demanding. I am not as happy with the results as I wanted and expected to be but I did do quite well. It's the moon phase manicure and I've seen a few pictures of this online but there are not as many as for other types of manicures.

For this I used:

• Eveline 8 in 1 Base Coat
• OPI Black Onyx
• Sinful Colors Snow White
• Nars Night Flight
• a small piece of a sponge
• a toothpick 
• Seche Vite Top Coat

I started off with the base coat and did 2 coats of OPI Black Onyx on each finger except the pinky finger which I covered with 2 coats of Nars Night Flight. After it dried I took a toothpick and dipped it into Sinful Colors Snow White and made the white shapes of the moon. I mixed together Black Onyx and Snow White (1:1). With the help of some tweezers I dipped the tiny piece of sponge into it and started basically blending the edges of the moon shapes into the black. After it dried I applied my top coat and Voila! Done. Hope you like it. :)

Vratila sam se šarenim manikurama nakon moje već standardne ljetne pauze kada lakiram samo jednobojno. Ovo je ljeto pauza trajala nešto kraće... Kao i ljeto uostalom! :D Ali planiram napisati post o tome koje sam lakiće nosila jer su to sve bili novi, po prvi put nalakirani lakovi, pa da vam ih na neki način predstavim. :)

Pupa - M049 in Black

There is something special in those black polishes, especially the ones that have extra kick in them. That sentence can describe black Pupa M049.

Postoji nešto posebno vezano uz crne lakove, posebno one koje imaju nešto neobično u sebi. Ta rečenica bi mogla opisati crni lak Pupa M049.

Compliments all the way

Hi guys! Remember my decision not to buy new polishes until I try the most bottles of my untrieds, or until the end of the year? Well, it's not that easy anymore stick with it. Seeing all the nail bloggers reviewing and swatching the new collections makes me mad. :) But I won't give up and when you see the three nail polishes that I'm showing you today, you'll see why! I found these polishes in one of my nail polish boxes. To tell you the truth, I'm surprised how gorgeous they turned up and I was neglecting them. Shame on me! I got so many compliments wearing them that I couldn't belive. I'm talking about Essence 107 Naughty and pink, Flormar GL10 and Catrice 860 Browno Mars.

Bok, ljudi! Sjećate se moje odluke da neću kupovati nove lakiće dok ne isprobam većinu neisprobanih ili do kraja godine? E pa nije više tako lako držati se toga. Kad vidim druge nail blogerice kako recenziraju i swatchaju nove kolekcije, poludim. :) Ali neću odustati, a kada vidite ova tri lakića koja ću vam danas pokazati, vidjet ćete i zašto! Našla sam ove lakiće u jednoj od svojih kutija s lakićima. Iskreno, iznenađena sam kako su predivno ispali, a ja sam ih zanemarivala. Ma sram me bilo! Toliko sam komplimenata dobila kad sam ih nalakirala, da nisam mogla vjerovati. Govorim o Essence 107 Naughty and pink, Floramr GL10 i Catrice 860 Browno Mars.

Here in Croatia we feel autumn comming with all this rain and chill outside. Nails are following that picture in dark blue way. Today I'm presenting you beautiful midnight blue from Essie.

Most expensive challenge - OPI Here Today ... Aragon Tomorrow

My most expensive polishes are definitely O.P.I.'s. Here in Croatia they cost around 18$, so I always buy them in some other way, most oftenly by Ebay. For this challenge I've choosen dark green beauty OPI Here Today ... Aragon Tomorrow. LOTR, anyone? :)

Najskuplji lakovi koje posjedujem su marke O.P.I. Ovdje u Hrvatskoj se mogu naći u Mulleru, Bipi i još ponegdje, a cijena im je vrtoglavih 100kn. Zato ih ne kupujem na taj način, nego najčešće posegnem za Ebayom. Za ovaj izazov odabrala sam ovog tamnozelenog ljepotana OPI Here Today ... Aragon Tomorrow. Mene je odmah podsjetilo na LOTR :)

One hell of a gradient

Today I'm showing you one super duper manicure. :) Let's face it, it's one little gradient and that's all! Simple as that! But I can't help being totally surprised how it turned up. Forgive me for that but I'm not good with gradients. They just aren't working the way I would want them to. Till now I did a dozen of gradient manicure but this is only the second that looks absolutely the way I planned.

Danas ću vam pokazati jednu super duper manikuru. :) Da se razumijemo, to je samo jedan mali gradient i to je sve! Ne može biti jednostavnije! Ali jednostavno ne mogu ne biti iznenađena kako je ispalo. Oprostite mi zbog toga, ali ja inače nisam dobra u gradientima. Jednostavno mi ne idu onako kako bih ja to htjela. Do sada sam napravila desetak gradient manikura, a ovo je tek druga koja izgleda absolutno onako kako sam planirala.

Nail art - Reversed half moon dotted over nude

I'm not really into nude shades, I like stronger shades more, in nail art, make up and clothing. But nude as a nail art base can really be great, as in this example.

Nisam baš osoba za neutralne nijanse, puno više volim jače nijanse, kako u manikurama, tako i u šminci i odjeći. Ali neutralna nijansa kao baza za nail art može biti stvarno odličan izbor, kao u sljedećem primjeru.

Misslyn - Greenwood

I know this is not really a spring/summer shade, but it's nice for all of you that like to wear dark polishes over all year. I'm talking about this dark green beauty - Misslyn Greenwood.

Znam da ovo nije baš proljetno-ljetna boja, ali je lijepa za sve koji vole nositi tamne nijanse tijekom čitave godine. Radi se o Misslyn Greenwood.

Name of polish - Greenwood - is really good for this color. Color is really dark green, like pine tree leaves.
Polish application is really good, and it is very opaque - as it is expected from dark colors.

Ime laka odlično odgovara boji, Greenwood - "zelena šuma". Boja je jako tamno zelena, poput iglica borovog drveta.
Lako je bilo nanijeti lak jer je dobre teksture i neproziran, kao što se i očekuje od tamne boje.

Nail art - Sexy nails

There was a contest of Sexy nails, so this is my interpretation. I had in mind black and red corset and this is how it turned out.
It is not very precise cause I had nor the tools or the time, but I hope you got the idea :)

S-he – 454 Black glitter

Dear readers!

Today I have multicolor nail polish glitter in a black base - She 454. It is not totally opaque, these are 3 layers. I think that it is best to put this color over some other dark nail polish as a base.

I would recommend this one, there is never too much glitter polishes if you ask me :)

Rainbow stripes Nail art

I'm sure you're going to love this manicure :) I've put so much effort in it and I think it turned out really good. But I hope you will leave comments of your option about it.

Sephora Black Strass with Volare flash red glitter

Dear readers!

This is one of my favorite glitter manicure and I hope you will see why. Over Sephora's Black Strass I have layered Volare flash red gliter with hexagons no.106. Black strass already had silver glitter in it so it turned out even more interesting.

Red really does pop out on black, don't you think so?
