Catrice - Let's get lost in Vegas

Hi,

I'm finally here with a winter polish. That doesn't mean that the polish is cold and withdrawn. Luxurious shade is almost cluttered with glitter.

evo mene napokon sa jednim zimskim lakom. No to nikako ne znači ako je hladan da je i povučen, dapače. Luksuzna nijansa skoro da je pretrpana šljokicama.

Stare nijanse koje nisu za baciti / Old shades not to be thrown away

I planned on using some of the oldest shades I've got in my collection for this manicure. I was wandering if the polishes are still good. They sure are gorgeous. If they weren't, they wouldn't have found their way to me. :) I wanted something a bit more embellished, but I worried about how it'll look. I like to do all kinds of things, but mostly I experiment with colours, not accessories. I'm really pleased with how it turned out and I got some compliments on top of it.

Kod ove sam manikure prvenstveno imala u planu napraviti nešto s nekim od najstarijih primjeraka u mojoj kolekciji. Znaimalo me jesu li još uvijek funkcionalni. Predivni svakako jesu. Da nisu, ne bi nikada ni došli do mene. :) Htjela sam nešto mrvicu nacifranije, ali me bilo strah kako će to izgledati. Volim raditi sve i svašta, ali većinom eksperimentiram bojama, a ne dodacima. Prezadovoljna sam kako je uspjelo i pobrala sam stvarno extra komplimenata.

Triput hura za pečatiranje

I'm really happy to be able to share a stamping manicure with you that I managed to do perfectly without cheating. You may know that I usually make stickers which I, playing it safe, first stamp ant then just apply to nail. Well now I decided to put an end to it! Not only did I succeed but I’m also overjoyed because I’ve opened a whole new world of options and combinations for my manicures.

Jako sam happy što napokon s vama mogu podijeliti manikuru s pečatiranjem koje mi je savršeno uspjelo bez varanja. Znate da obično radim stickere koje onako ziheraški otpečatiram i onda samo nakeljim na nokat. E pa ovaj sam put odlučila tome stati na kraj! Ne da mi je uspjelo, nego sam presretna jer sam si otvorila popuno novi vid manikiranja s brdo opcija i kombinacija.

Ciate - Purple sherbet

Hi all!

I have a great friend who bought me this delicious shade. Why do I use word delicious? I have at least two reasons that I can remember:
1st: it's so beautiful that I would eat it :D and
2nd: it's pastel colored as an ice cream, mmm

1. toliko je prekrasna da bih ju jednostavno mogla pojesti :D

I just came to say hello... (and other stuff :D), part I

So, hello everyone! How you're doing? :) Long time no see (or in this case read)! I haven't posted for a while now for several reasons! I was on my vacation at sea and had no contact with anybody because of some technical difficulties. Let's say my new 4 days old mobile phone crashed and I lost all my numbers and pictures and everything. Disaster, I know! :/ Thank god, my camera didn't disappoint me so I managed to take photos of manicures that I wore during my absence and these manicures I'm bringing you today.

Pa pozdrav svima! Kako ste? Dugo se nismo vidjeli (ili u ovom slučaju čitali)! Nisam postala neko vrijeme iz različitih razloga! Bila sam na odmoru na moru i nisam imala kontakt ni sa kim zbog nekih tehničkih poteškoća. Recimo da mi je novi, 4 dana star mobitel krepao (kako ja to stručno volim reći :D) i izgubila sam sve brojeve i fotke i sve. Katastrofa, znam! :/ Hvala Bogu, fotić me nije razočarao pa sam uspjela poslikati manikure koje sam nosila tokom odsutnosti i te vam manikure donosim danas.

Oldest challenge - Catrice Iron mermaiden

This challenge asks for oldest polish in a collection. I don't really remember which one is my oldest, but this one is old enough.Catrice Iron mermaiden is a duchorome metallic polish with greenish grey as base color that transforms to lilac depending from light and angle that you are watching. Swatches are done with 3 layers of Catrice.

Ovaj izazov zahtjeva najstariji lak u kolekciji. Ne sjećam se baš koji mi je lak iz kolekcije najstariji, no ovaj je dovoljno star. Catrice Iron mermaiden je lak duochrome metalne boje. Za bazu ima zeleno sivu koja se preljeva u lila ovisno o svjetlosti i kutu iz kojeg gledate lak. Slike su napravljene s 3 sloja laka. 

Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 105

It's been so long since my last post, I'm sorry about that, and I promise I'll do my best to shorten that period.
Today I'll be showing you one of my recent buys, GR Jolly Jewels 105. I absolutely LOVE this polish, it's so much fun to wear, and I got so many compliments when I was wearing it.

Jako mi je žao što je opet prošlo milijun dana od mog posljednjeg posta, ali na sto strana sam. Em radim, em  se borim sa zadnjim ispitima, em pišem diplomski, i još par sitnica uz to. Dat ću sve od sebe da češće postam, obećajem.
Danas ću vam pokazati jednog od mojih nedavno kupljenih ljepotana, GR Jolly Jewels 105. Ovaj lak obožavam, prelijep je i prezabavan, a usput ne škodi to što sam dobila gomilu komplimenata kad sam ga nosila.

Nail art - Colorful puzzle

When I started this manicure, I wanted to do something entirely different, which included making quite complex gradient. While trying to find a sponge for the gradient, I came accross my dotting tool and decided to go this way. „Go with the flow“ style :)

Kad sam krenula u izradu ove manikure, imala sam nešto totalno drugačije na umu. Namjeravala sam napraviti kompleksni gradient, no nisam mogla naći spuživce koje su mi trebale. Dok sam ih tražila naišla sam na svoje točkalice i dobila ideju za manikuru koju ćete vidjeti u nastavku. Kako se kockice nekad zanimljivo poslože :)

Anny - One and only

Are you crazy for purples? What about lilacs? If the answers are Yes, you will find Anny - One and only as a very interesting nail polish. Color is dusty lilac cream.

Da li ste ludi za ljubičastom? A za lila? Ako ste odgovorili sa Da, Anny - One and only će vam biti vrlo zanimljiv lak. To je prljavo lila kremasta nijansa.

This polish has a great cream texture and high pigmentation. Only one layer is enough to be opaque, but here I've layerd two, more because of habit than from any other reason. I've finished manicure with Seche Vite but because of fast drying.

Lak je predivne kremaste teksture i visoko pigmentiran. Dovoljan je samo jedan sloj, iako sam ovdje stavila dva - više iz navike nego iz bilo kojeg drugog razloga. Završila sam sa Seche Vite zbog bržeg sušenja.

Updating collection with bunch of greens

Pokušavam se suzdržati od kupovine novih lakova, no jučer sam si dala malo oduška i kupila 6 divnih primjeraka :) Ne mogu odoljeti zelenim lakićima pa evo rezultata...

L.A. Girls – Frosty Iris

This is nice pearly white color with a touch of pink/lilac that is suitable from 6 year girls to womans in their 60ies. It really suits everyone. You can even wear it to work and feel elegant.

Ovo je lijepa biserno bijela boja sa trunkom roze/lila koju možete nositi ako ste curice od 6 godina pa sve do žena u 60ima. Stvarno pristaje svakome. Možete ga nositi i na posao za elegantan izgled vaših noktiju i ruku.

OPI – Do you lilac it?

How are you today? Good or bad, I hope you'll feel better after looking at this lilac beauty - OPI Do you lilac it?

This polish is lilac cream with great texture, as most cream polishes have. Because of that, it applies evenly, doesn't leave any strokes, and it's smooth as a cream cheese :) It also dries very fast. For swatches I have used 2 layers.

Avon - Heavenly

I haven't had much time lately so I haven posted in a while. Apologies for that!
And due to that, today I will post two polish posts for you :)

First will be Avon Heavenly from Color trend line. I bought it on discounted price some time now, I think it was around 15kn ~ 2€.
It is nice light lilac color that is suitable even for your little ladies at home that had just started to discover world of make up. It is nice for us - the big girls to :)

These are 2 layers of polish, swatches are following:

 What do you like to wear more on your nails? Light colors, or strong and intense ones?


I'm personally more fund of intense ones, but sometimes I like to put gentle colors to, depending on my mood :)

Constance Caroll – 331 Sugared Lilac

This is one of the cheapest polish in my collection, I bought it on a market for 12 kn~ 2$. But quality for that price was dazzling, it lasted 5 days on my nails! I needed to put 3 layers for color to become opaque. I think this is a great color for upcoming winter period.

 Layers:
1. Alessandro nail hardener as a base coat
2. Sugared Lilac, 3 color coats
3. Seche vite as a top coat
