Challenge - Three colors: Porcelain coffee cup inspired

So... Challenges are just not my thing! When someone (or in this case something) says you'll do this or that, I block out. Any kind of rules when it comes to my hobbies, especially my nails aren't welcome. Luckily I had an idea of three color manicure before I knew about the challenge and the guest post. Am I one lucky bastard or what? :))

The other day while I was drinking my morning coffee, I cought myself staring at the cup. Then it crossed my mind to do a manicure like those old porcelain coffee cups. Ofcourse, my coffee cup doesn't look like this but it wouldn't be interesting to just paint nails burgundy red. :))

First I applied a basecoat and that is always Eveline Diamond hard and shiny nails. White polish is Smart girls get more 46 and there are two coats. White polishes dry very slow, that's my experience and I waited until I was completely sure that it's dry. For stamping I used Essence Stampy polish Stamp me! black and Essence stamping plate. I concentrated myslef on the left side of every nail and after I finished stamping, I applied Essence BTGN topcoat. In the end, when everything dried, I used a duct tape and covered that stamped part of every nail so I could precisely apply blue polish on the right side. The blue polish is Golden Rose matte (there's number 10 in the back but I'm not sure is that the polish number).

Prvo sam nalakirala bazni lak, a to je uvijek Eveline Diamond hard and shiny nails. Za pečatiranje sam koristila Essence Stampy polish Stamp me! black i Essenceovu pločicu.

How do you like it? Does this manicure remindes you of old porcelain coffee cups?
